Alusec UK are
currently recruiting for an Trainee Estimator or Estimator to be
based out of their Rotherham office
About the Role
The Trainee
Estimator or Estimator
will communicate with a range of contacts including contractors,
architects and suppliers as well as senior members of the business.
The role will consist of
-
Measuring from scaled
architects drawings
-
Understanding project
specifications
-
Negotiating with suppliers
-
Using in house software to
generate a price
-
Producing accurate and
competitive quotes
-
Liaising directly with
contractors
Experience with AutoCAD, Logikal (or similar industry estimating software)
and a previous background of the construction industry is advantageous
but not essential. Full training will be provided to the right
candidate.
The applicant must be computer literate and
knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
- Producing quotations & schedules for architectural aluminium windows, doors and curtain wall from received enquiries
- Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager
- Working within an established team
- Experience in the Technal and Senior Aluminium Systems preferred
- Experience of Tech Design & Logikal preferred but not essential
- Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to work as part of a team or individually
